Product Overview
TempBond Clear from Kerr is a dual-cure, resin-based temporary cement for provisional crowns, bridges, inlays and onlays. It sets clear and translucent, which makes it the practical choice for provisionals in the esthetic zone where a conventional opaque eugenol or non-eugenol cement would show through a thin or translucent restoration. The cured cement stays flexible enough to be removed cleanly in one piece, yet holds the provisional securely between visits. Contains triclosan to help limit bacterial growth at the margin.
Key Features
- Clear and translucent — No grey or opaque line showing through anterior provisionals
- Dual cure — Self-cures reliably, and can be tack-cured for faster clean-up
- Contains triclosan — Helps limit bacterial growth around the provisional
- Flexible when set — Clean removal of both restoration and cement, usually in one piece
- Good mechanical retention — Holds provisionals securely between appointments
- Automix syringe — Consistent mix straight into the restoration, less waste
- Eugenol free — Will not interfere with the polymerisation of resin cements at the final cementation visit
Clinical Applications
Temporary cementation of provisional crowns, bridges, inlays and onlays — particularly anterior and other esthetic cases where cement shade matters, and cases where a definitive resin cement will be used at the seating appointment.
