Product Overview
The Baishi Gingival Cord Packer is a double-ended instrument for placing retraction cord into the gingival sulcus before impressions, crown and bridge preparation and restorative work. Both working ends carry a black non-stick coating, which keeps the cord from lifting back out as the instrument is withdrawn and gives clear contrast against tissue and cord in a wet field.
The tips are set at complementary angles so a single instrument reaches both anterior and posterior sites without swapping. The knurled stainless steel handle is lightweight and gives a secure grip with gloves.
Key Features
- Double-ended — Two working angles on one instrument for anterior and posterior access
- Non-stick coated tips — Cord stays seated in the sulcus instead of pulling back out
- Fine 0.5 mm tip thickness — Enters the sulcus without traumatising the tissue
- Knurled stainless handle — Secure tactile grip, light in the hand
- Autoclavable stainless steel — Standard sterilisation, built for repeat use
Clinical Applications
Placing gingival retraction cord prior to impression taking, crown and bridge preparation, Class II and Class V restorations, and any procedure requiring tissue displacement and moisture control at the margin.
